Holiday house Casa Brocal stands just above the village of Puntagorda, on the sunny west side of the island La Palma.
The house stands on a large plot, it has a private entrance and the house offers you privacy and peace and quiet.
A supermarket and restaurant are on walking distance.

Casa Brocal has a balcony and a spacious sheltered terrace. From the parking to the house is 14 steps up.
Casa Brocal is a non-smoking house and suitable for 1 or 2 adults + baby up to 2 years.

From the house you have stunning views over the village Puntagorda, the Atlantic Ocean and the mountains above you.
Under the house is a store, it is not in use so nobody will come there to disturb you.

 
 
Accommodation
Casa Brocal has a spacious and light living room with open kitchen.
There are a sofa and chairs, a dining table with chairs, tv and radio/casette player. Cool winternights will be romantic by the fire.
The door opens onto the balcony.
 
In the kitchen you'll find a large refrigerator, ceramic stove (2 hobs), coffee machine, toaster and a fruit juicer.
There is a good selection of kitchen utensils.

In the bedroom with sea view are 2 single beds (190x90) with good matrasses and a wardrobe.
the bathroom has a shower, wash basin and WC.

 
Outside
The spacious sheltered terrace is an ideal place for a sunny breakfast. There is a table and chair and sunbeds.
 
 
Area
Puntagorda is one of the most beautiful areas of La Palma, is in the north-west of the island and about 1,5 hours drive from the airport.
Puntagorda has various shops, a dispensing chemist, butcher, banks with cash dispensers, a post office, restaurants, typical local bars, public swimming pool and on Saturdays and Sundays there is a market in the Mercadillo selling local produce.
In January the almond trees start flowering in Puntagorda. Every year, at the end of January or beginning of February, Puntagorda celebrates the Festival of the Flowering Almond.
The area around Puntagorda is a must for nature lovers. There are many and varied walking paths, view points, some old windmils and El Fayal, a beautiful pine forest with barbecue and picnic area and childrens playground.
El Puerto has access to the sea. There is no beach, but in the summer months you can swim in the ocean.
Puntagorda is ideally situated for trips to the north of La Palma and the highest point of the island Roque de Los Muchachos.
It is ±45 minutes drive to the town of Los Llanos with the famous Plaza de España and the beautiful streets and houses. The sandy beach at Tazacorte is a ±35 minutes drive.
